More about the honey…
H&H Honey’s Mesquite Honey Is beautiful and rich to match its distinctive sweet taste. It is fresh from the Sonoran Desert and is a hardy, rugged desert honey. Our honey and pollen comes from the deserts south of town! We are based in Mesa, Arizona. Raw honey is super healthy and has long been used for natural remedies. Our honey is 100% pure and raw – and is perfect for casual eating or for honey lovers! We have found that even those who don’t eat a ton of honey find that they go through this honey pretty fast.
Note on Crystallization: Raw honey doesn’t spoil but it does tend to crystallize after a while. This proves that the honey is pure and natural. Some people actually prefer crystallized honey as it spreads nice or can be a kind of mold-able candy – it is less messy! If you’re not one of these people you can liquefy your honey again, simply remove the cap, set the jar in warm water and heat it over the stove. Don’t ever set the jar in boiling water – it will kill the good enzymes in the honey. Store at room temperature preferably out of direct sunlight.
Infant Warning: Children under the age of one year should not consume raw honey.
